All players will need appropriate basketball shoes and a 28.5 " indoor basketball (only exception is 6th grade TRAVEL BOYS that uses 29.5")
Practice times and locations are based on gym availability.
It is not always possible to have a team practice at the same day/time/location every week due to gym schedule restrictions.
Practices are typically scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.
Boys In House Program and Girls Community Program in grades 3-6, MUST reside in the NHSD.
-OVERALL COMMITMENT-2 days/week. 1 practice for 1 hour/week and 1 game each Saturday.
-Fee of $150
-Pre-season player evaluations
- 6-8 practices starting with pre-season practices in November
- 6-8 games held on Saturday starting December through Early February
-End of the season tournament
-Uniform including shorts and reversible jersey
-Equal playing time among players
Travel Teams for boys and girls in grades 4-6, MUST reside in the NHSD.
-OVERALL COMMITMENT-up to 4 days a week
-Fee of $250
-Required tryout
-Pre-season practices starting mid October
-Dependent on gym availability, approx. 2 practices per week, 2 games per week starting December through February.
ALL Travel teams will be entered into the PYBL League. Their league information is as follows:
ALL games will be played away at the following locations (no home games):
North Allegheny School District and at GRIT Athletix in Swissvale (2920 McKelvey Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15221)
PYBL LEAGUE DATES:
Each team will play TWO games on either Saturday or Sunday.

Weekend #1: Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd
Weekend #2: Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th
Weekend #3: Saturday, January 6th and Sunday, January 7th
Weekend #4: Saturday, January 13th and Sunday, January 14th
Weekend #5: Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st
Weekend #6: Saturday, January 27th and Sunday, January 28th
Weekend #7: (Playoffs) Saturday, February 3rd and Sunday, February 4th
-Participation in 1 Travel Tournament, additional Travel Tournaments will be an added personal expense for each player who participates.

-Playing time is not evenly distributed between players
-Away games can be up to 60 minutes away
